Introduction

Welcome to this week’s trading update! Our strategy, inspired by Andreas Clenow’s “Stocks On The Move,” involves ranking stocks by their annualized adjusted slope, focusing on momentum. The S&P 500 has been positive for 300 days, and our approach remains steady: only venture into new positions when the market conditions comply.

Buys/Sells

This week, we saw some portfolio adjustments. We have sold CMPO, and welcomed UTI into our holdings. For those unfamiliar, Universal Technical Institute (UTI) offers technical education services, particularly in the automotive, diesel, and welding sectors. Their unique positioning provides essential skills to learners, creating job-ready graduates. Existing positions in AAL and CORT were increased, enhancing our exposure to these stocks. We also rebalanced and reduced exposure to DOCS, STRL, UAL, and USLM.

Our portfolio is significantly weighted towards the Industrials sector, reflecting our belief in its potential. Some of our notable holdings in this sector include PlayOn! Sports (PAYO), Altamira Therapeutics (ALTM), and Generac Holdings (GEV). This week’s standout performer was ALTM with a gain of 10.47%, while on the other hand, Palantir Technologies (PLTR) fell by 13.58%.

Summary

Overall, the week saw strategic adjustments guided by our momentum ranking strategy. Our holdings in the Industrials sector continue to dominate our portfolio, representing our confidence in this sector’s resilience and growth potential. As always, we’re here to connect, so feel free to share your thoughts or questions in the comments section below. Happy investing!
